Hi,

I need to build a new PC.I don't have anything except for maybe a keyboard.I am not looking for a GPU right now but in the future I would like to run two GPU's in crossfire/SLI.

System is mainly for gaming and max budget as of now is 40K.Please suggest

Cheers!

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans:Regular usage+gaming(Recent launches/Future launches of games like COD,BF,COH,AC )

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:40k(will add a GPU later on)

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:No, but need a good processor which should be good for the next 3-4 years

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Win 7/8.1

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:1tb(more preferred but probably won't be possible)

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:Nope

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:Keyboard, mouse

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:1 month

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:No I haven't.Will do it myself

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Delhi. Will get the components from Nehru Place.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: I am planning on running two GPU's simultaneously(SLI-Crossfire), in the future of course.I need a system which supports that.

Monitor?
600W for a SLI/CFX board? and CFX is what OP won't possibly go with as AMD cards are now not even an option in front of new gen nVidia cards.

OP go with this -

i5 4440 - 11k
Gigabye B85 D3H - 5.5k
Dell S2240L - 8k
HyperxFury/Corsair Vengence 4GB - 3k
WD Blue 1TB - 3.8k
Deepcool Tesseract - 3k
Seasonic S12II 520W - 5.5k

> buy another RAM stick later on
>get AOC I2369VM if its availiable around 9k
>Get something like GTX 970 or GTX 960 for a GPU.
> you can cut cost buy getting GS600 rahter than S12II

Nope :) , Bro got into college. He needed a separate system. Was thinking of building a desktop for him.

OR, give him the laptop and keep the shiny new desktop for myself :p
