Hey friends,
Im looking to get my mom a new android phone. I have listed the requirements below:
0. When?:
ASAP, today if possible(since its Sunday). Or within 2-3 days at the max.
1. Budget?
Upto 20k INR (Around 18k preferred)
2. Display type and size?
[Major Requirement] Has to be atleast 4.5 inches. Upto 5.5 inches is fine.
3. Form Factor? bar, slider, flip?
Candy Bar only
4. Preferred choice of brand?
No local brands. Anything else is fine.
5. Preferred input method (QWERTY, touchscreen, numpad, touch-n-type).
Touchscreen
6. What camera option you want? Please specify need for flash, autofocus, front facing camera.
[Major Requirement] Good quality camera is a must, MP rating is irrelevant. Front camera is also mandatory
7. Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc).
Android only, no WP8. She already has used Android and is well versed.
8. Preferred connectivity options (3G, Wifi etc)Please specify clearly.
Usual connectivity options, which are in all Android phones now
9. Preferred applications (Flash, Swype, GPS, etc)?
Whatsapp, Skype, Simple puzzle games
10. Primary use of handset (multimedia, camera, mails, internet, gaming etc)?
Usage: General calling, SMS, IM, Skype, Videos, Camera, Music.
11. Any specific mobile phones in consideration?
Xperia L is small in size. How is Xperia C? I know it has MTK chipset, but is it good?
Is Lenovo an established brand in India now. Ive been out of the mobile curcuit for a while.
Can I get the Xperia SP in my budget? How is the camera?
