Best video editor ?

Hi

I have canon MV850i handycam..it gives .avi movies . I want to know which is the best free video editing tool so that I can add effects in clips plus add songs in background...........

Windows Movie Maker 2.0. Check Fast track book October's edition which comes with Digit magazine for very help full guide for editing videos in moviemaker.

i wud wanna know do u want to make it very glossy and very good or u just want it for plain editing and effects
if for plain stuff go for moviemaker or if going for advanced things use adobe premier

unless you are paying for it, that is.

Free? I;m sure you already have something that came with this cam. Check the CD's.

nah there is no any other good effect producing software . not good at all

adobe premier or Ulead Video Factory is required but they are shareware
