Best Anti Theft for Android phones

I have a Xiaomi Mi3 and I need a decent, working in india, anti theft app for my phone.

Please help guys.

Get Avast anti theft or CM antivirus make sure to lock system settings with app locker that comes with it.

But whatever you do, if you loose your phone or it gets stolen, no application can find it as the person who gets the phone first switched it off and then formats the phone and then .....you all know....

+1 to Cerberus, probably the best app there is.

It runs in the background and allows you to track the phone through GPS and allows you to take pictures from the stolen phones camera, etc. Also, the regular lock device or wipe device options are also available.

Pre-installed ones are always better that those you install from play store. Use android device manager - Android Device Manager

Well, there are a number of them available over the store and I would say most of them are pretty much decent anyway you can try using avast, macafee,... to start with as with them you are going to get multiple benefits !

Why not get Theft Insurance? you might have higher chances of getting insurance money than getting your phone back.

It doesn't matter for Phone flashers that USB debugging is enabled or not...

recently my Gionee P2 was bricked with a boot issue (coz I flashed wrong recovery/boot img) and tried several adb commands to recover it but failed
so finally visited Gionee Service center (as it was in warranty) and to my surprise they installed stock OS within 30minutes :shock: and I don't how they flashed it coz the device was not detected in PC (not via adb or any other command)


so professional engineers can flash a locked phone also
