Battery for cordless, NiMH 1.2 V 300 mAh

I have a Motorola cordless phone (2 units ) which is not able to hold the charge no matter how long I put it on the charger. When I opened the back, it has

2 rechargeable, AAA, NiMH, 1.2 V , 300 mAH battery

When I searched on Flipkart and Amazon, most of the match has 1100 mAh as specification. Can I buy that instead of 300 mAh ? Everything else is fine. If not, where can I find 300 mAh model ? I tried locally, found no match in stores nearby. Thanks.

Try the 1100 mAH one. It should work fine if the size is the same. Just keep an eye if it gets heated than normal or not. If it does then you can return the same. Also ask Moto's cs from where you can find one in your city or online.

mAH is battery capacity, voltage & current are the most important factors. Two batteries with same current & voltage value are same for any device accepting that current & voltage value battery, larger mAH value simply means it takes more time to charge & similarly more backup/operating time before requiring recharge.
