Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate Deluxe Edition Help Needed With an Issue Making Life Hell

Hey there,

I am new here and also relatively new to gaming. Nice to be here.

So I installed 'Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate Deluxe Edition' It works fine...except there is one major problem with my drivers or laptop or whatever.

Problem

The game loads fine. The game has some really sexy graphics (and I suspect the problem's got to do something with poor graphics settings on my comp) I start the game, for 2 minutes I am really enjoying myself. The game requires me to chase catwoman...I fight the guards, chase her...2 minutes up and then kaput...the laptop shuts on its own. Gone.
Happened a lot of times. Re-installed. Problem Persists. Has happened a lot of times earlier too. Earlier videos used to make the comp hang. Tried the thinkvantage thingy to check for problems with hardware...No probs.
What else I tried

• Tried updating Direct -X
• Checked out updates for graphics driver

Try unistalling and then reinstalling the drivers.

you are running the game on iGPU.

if you don't have a dGPU, try to configure the settings to the lowest. and if you have a dGPU, update its drivers.
