I want people's opinion on what to buy between these two laptops. The price for both is the same.

  • As per the specifications the Clevo is slightly better
  • But the Clevo weighs 3.4 kgs while ASUS weighs 2.5 kg
  • Clevo is upgradeable and ASUS is not.
  • Celvo's battery life is poor compared to ASUS (No Optimus and Desktop CPU)
  • I am also unsure about the heat management.

Which would you chose if you want a light, mobile laptop which lasts long and performs well?

If you are ok with lesser storage options, i guess you will be happy with Asus. I will personally prefer Asus, if you are going to use it in India due to after sales

Btw where are you buying the laptop from? And where will you use it(location: India or abroad)?

Clevo I am buying from Azom systems in India and I will also be using it in India only for the foreseeable future.
ASUS is also available in India

If you want portability, I'll recommend Asus... Clevo has better upgradability but is bulky & you won't find service centres everywhere (Azom's HQ is at Kolkata, I think)

Asus GL502VT-FY026T ROG Series Core i7 (6th Gen) - (16 GB/1 TB HDD/256 GB SSD/Windows 10/6 GB Graphics)

1. Light weight and speed is relatively good
2. Display is too good
3. gaming at its best - Graphic card rocks
4. looks sexy and touchpad is too good
