ASUS P5N-E SLI Mother Board not compatiable to WIN XP 32 BIT ?

I RECENTLY PURCHASED ONE PC WITH 'ASUS P5N E SLI' BOARD (BIOS REVISION NO -0608) AND INTEL Q6600 QUAAD CORE PROCESSOR, TRANSCEND 800MHz 1GB X 2 RAMS, - SPARKLE GEF 8600GT 256MB DDR3 GRAPFIC CARD-WIN XP 32 BIT OS. [/B]

THE SYSTEM HANGS UP FREQUENTLY DURING WORKING PERIOD AND ALSO DURING INTERNET CONNECTIVITY, THE SYSTEM REPEATEDLY HANGS UP. IN THE MOTHER BOARD MANUAL , SUPPORTED 'OS' ARE GIVEN AS WIN XP 64 BIT, WIN SERVER 2003(Enterprise edition), WIN VISTA.,but not mentioned about WIN XP 32 bit.

I REQUEST FOR CLARIFICATION WHETHER I SHALL USE COMPULSORILY WIN XP 64 BIT, OR I CAN CONTINUE WIN XP 32 BIT ?

THE PROBLEM OF HANGING UP IS WITH 'OS' OR ANY HARDWARE PROBLEM ? AND HOW TO SOLVE IT? Is WIN XP 32 bit not compatiable for the ASUS P5N-E SLI mother board?

This board supports 32Bit XP.Your bios is old.Update it to 703(official)which is causing the problem.Download from asus support center(www.asus.com).Use EZ-Flash 2 to flash your bios using a pen drive.
You can go to the bios and select EZ-Flash 2 to flash your bios.Reset the bios before you flash to default settings and disable any overclocking.Flashing the bios will not void your warranty.
