asus p5b deluxe ram/cpu upgrade advice

Can I use ddr3 ram 1333 on asus p5b deluxe I want to add 4x2gb (8gb ram) (this mobo support only upto8gb)
DDR2 ram is more than double the price hence I can sell my 4x1gb ram.
Transcend DDR3 1333MHz 2GB (Desktop) - www.deltapage.com

Also advice should I buy 4x2gb or 2x4gb or 1x8gb version of ram, lesser ram stick will heat less so I think for going 8gb single stick which is cheaper & have less heat.

Asus site show this board support FSB 1333 but ram speed is limited to 800 only so it would down clock from 1333 to 800 but just want to be sure before I buy ram.

Also suggest me a new CPU which I can upgrade on this board to my budget is 6-8K for cpu.

1) Your M.B support only DDR2 Memory [ so no u cant use DDR3 memory ]

2) Your M.B have 4 DDR2 Slots and support max 8 GB , so u can use 2GB X4 or 4x2 (4x 2 if u have updated bios P5B Deluxe BIOS 1238
Fix system hangs at POST while using certain 4GB memory and CPUs.] [ Not sure about 8x1 combination, think not offically supported (not sure) ]
