In March 2012, I bought a replacement battery for my hp pavilion dv9000 laptop from HP Pavilion DV9000 Battery, HP Pavilion DV9000 Replacement Battery with $60, 2 years warranty, June, some problems occured and the battery died, I asked the after-sales service for help and got it repaired. As a result, they said the battery can't be fixed any more and I need to replace it with a new battery replacement. I am willing to replace the battery, but the warranty period must be calculated from the date of the battery exchanging, since the battery quality is poor and i just used it for 4 months. To my surprise, they agreed and rewrited down the date I changed the new battery on the warranty card. I took it for granted, but my friend didn't and guess that i just be in good luck. I feel confused, anyone knows the correct calculation of the warranty?
