I know this must probably be the most common and repetitive thread on Digit, but here goes :
1. Budget? 15 K.. could possibly extend up to 16-17K
2. Display type and size? 4" atleast
3. Form Factor? bar, slider, flip? Bar
4. Preferred choice of brand? Sony, Samsung, LG etc.. Wanna stay away from Indian makes.
5. Preferred input method (QWERTY, touchscreen, numpad, touch-n-type). Touch
6. What camera option you want? Please specify need for flash, autofocus, front facing camera. A good camera is a priority. Need the best this price range can offer.
7. Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc). Android
8. Preferred connectivity options (3G, Wifi etc)Please specify clearly. WiFi
9. Preferred applications (Flash, Swype, GPS, etc)?
10. Primary use of handset (multimedia, camera, mails, internet, gaming etc)? Whatsapp, Camera, Mails, Internet, Multimedia. NO GAMING
11. Any specific mobile phones in consideration? I dunno.. maybe Xperia L ? as everyone seems to be recommending it.
12. Any other info that you want to share I like the Xperia L, but i wonder if it's getting the 4.2 Update and beyond. Want a phone that should last me more than a year. I'm a moderate user. The only apps I would be using a lot are Music, Mails, Whatsapp and Internet. So, necessary requirements are :
