Busy!!
After checking lots of options and trying to find SLI board for my 8320 here I have finally decide to go with full upgrade so please suggest Motherboard/Processor/RAM combo.
My main usage is light gaming (when ever i get time) and lots of browsing which my Job requires (chome around 10~15 tabs always open and another couple of browsers with total 10~12 tabs always open). I know having more RAM is recommended but right now the price of these sticks are high so I will go with 8 gb single stick and eventually upgrade to 32gb when prices comes down in few months.
I won't overclock but might SLI gtx 1070 so is it worth spending more money on 370 chipset or should I stick with B350 and wait for AMD cards and Crossfire or maybe go with 1080 if budget allows when I think of upgrading.
The Processor I have in mind is Ryzen 5 1500X I guess its a good upgrade over my FX 8320 but will leave you guys to decide if I should spend few more and get 1600
P.S. I have 4 Harddisks and thinking to get an SSD for installing OS so 6 Sata ports are needed
1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Games like Farcry, GTA, and FPS like Battlefield and COD and lots of browsing
2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: Budget is flexible and if its worth spending extra money for better parts/VFM product then I don't mind but if its must then 30k for mobo/proccy/RAM
3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: No
4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 10
5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: Don't need, already have more than enough
6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: No, Have BenQ 27' 1080p monitor but planning to upgrade to 4k in 6 months
7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: want only mobo/proccy/RAM
8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: if possible then ASAP so I can assemble next weekend
9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: myself
10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: fine with online purchase and local deal
11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: Already wrote above
