i am using nVidia 6600LE PCIe card for the past 6 months.. but some days before the fan on the graphics card came out from the socket because of the intense heat.. when i returned it to my vendor he sent it for repair but they gave me back the card without doing anything.. stating it was PHYSICAL DAMAGE.. i am very upset.. can anyone please help..

this is just one of the biggest frustration i had during the last month.. even i wanted to service my fan.. as it was making a strange noise.. all they said that the fans are not under warranty.. I literally swore in front of the guy.. ARE THEY F***KIN GIVING US A SEPARATE BILL FOR THE FAN???? NO!!! then why the hell isnt it under warranty.. all this BS is here in the great dumping ground (india) elsewhere its a no questions asked repair/replace policy.. first of all theres no sticker claiming such a void in warranty..
also if i you do spend money of repair of the fan.. even that shitty service is not under warranty.. i mean the replaced fan, if it gets damaged in 2 bloody hours.. they would still charge you for the re-repair.. best and safer choice is to buy a dedicated cooling solution availabe for graphics cards for eg Zalman..
i am now in process of buying my own fan as of now.. good lick to you

^^^If your fan is creating too much noise while working, then it needs some simple oiling. See a tutorial on oiling the CPU fans HERE
