The phone is for my mother with the use cases mentioned above.
She currently uses a Samsung M30s but the amount of bloat is just a bit much. Also the phone became pretty sluggish after a year so trying to avoid Samsung.

Stock Android/ minimal bloat is preferred

Why not the Nothing Phone 1? Mom would prefer a bigger screen.

I can wait for a month or so and also take a look at the Pixel 7 if there are any discounts on those.

New company - better wait for another year or two for them to settle.

Pixel 7 was 50k on sales, doubt it will get lower than that soon. Pixel 6a is a solid choice.

Moto Edge 30 was 25k, should meet all requirements but battery life won't be as good as M30s, even other options likely won't outlast M30s. You will suffer in camera quality compared to Pixel 6a & S20FE (similar to other sub 40k phones), but should be sufficient for your mother mostly.

Samsung & other phones need a bit of bloat cleanup & notification turn offs to clean them, spend some time. S20FE (under 30k) is a solid choice but android 13 is its last OS update. Its main rear cam is slightly inferior to 6a maybe, but tele & ultrawide are good for the budget.
