17"/19" Monitor in Kolkata- buying suggestion needed

I want to buy a 17" or 19" LCD monitor, in Kolkata.
Please suggest a value for money product...

Samsung and Dell are two good brands to look-out for..... LCD monitors are cheap now-a-days so why not go in for a 22"???? Don't opt for LED as they say that its energy saver but a performance lost has been experienced.

actually the budget is within 5K.. and it is not for my own purpose but for one my cousines..

he is upgrading from CRT to LCD..
point noted: not to go for LED but opt for LCD..

can you please suggest how are BENQ and viewsonic?
