15th birthday of CS

On the 19th of June 1999, Counter Strike was released as a GldSrc mod by some very talented people.

Someone wanna have an online party to celebrate ? CS 1.6 ?

Quite interesting to know CS came out while I was learning my first lessons in Physics!

Without prior knowledge about today being the anniversary of counter strike, I brought CS into the discussion when FPS games were mentioned during a discussion today amongst my colleagues.

"Have you ever played CS?", I asked him with anticipating eyes, "Its one of the most popular FPS ever played and it was always played during LAN games in college competitions."

Did I somehow come to realize about today's significance by some cosmic connections? Or is this mere coincidence?

Oh the nostalgia surrounding the good old CS......
I personally still believe that version 1.6 was the best purely beacause the large number of servers and players around.
Also I like to fire it up and kill some n00bs from time to time.......
