Latest VLC media player for windows 64 bit is skipping beats while playing songs ... I have an i5 760 proccy ... Windows Media player runs flawlessly ... Y dis problem wid vlc ????

dear, i m using P4 2.6. this was happend first. whn turning on the pc, it will boot, thn while loading XP, skipping to the restart. wht my thought was, this may be due to out of memory. i have doubled mmc.still same effect. today wht i done is, booted frm XP cd, then it workd the setup...
