shortwhile

I am using Airtel Broad band having plan of 512KBPS in day and 1MBPS in the night, Whenever I run torrent, the speed remains good only for a shortwhile. Is there anyway i can check if this Airtel is manipulating BitTorrent traffic? If yes, How can I break it??
