quicklaunch

Hi guys.. For sometime ago i hv lost my quicklaunch for every restart..i restart my pc the quicklaunch dissappears..again i bring it bac align the icons..lock it..its safe..one more restart its gone again.. i hv googled and got lots of tricks but still doesnt work..so decided to get the...

1) This days whenever I clicks on any icon in Taskbar Quicklaunch, my taskbar freezes for quite some time. any solution ???????????????? 2) Also when I clicks on My Computer icon on my desktop, the window opens, but then some torch serching animation is there for a long time befor the drives...
