Hello, i was thinking of taking BSNL home500 plan tomorrow .is this a good one.. are there better plans. i saw ul900 but its got only 256kbps , so i thought home500 wud be better . what do u say ? which modem shud i buy ? ethernet or usb ? and shud i take any precautions ? and could u tell any...

i recently shifted to home500 frm ul900 plan....i thought i might get gud speed but i was shocked to c dat speed didnt even get high than 40KBps though theoretically 2mbps = 256KBps.... even at the nite time there was no speed increase...do i need to change some settings for my adsl modem or...

recenlty i visited bsnl.co.in and saw the tariff plans. in the home500 plan, dwnload is increasedd to 2.5 GB and speed of 256kbps to 2mbps...wat does this speed means i mean wud it be variable between 256 and 2mbps or we hav to select sumthng other...hav any1 tried it? wil i realy get...
