guys I'm planning to install mint 15 on my system, current os is windows7 & my disk partition is as follows
c:37gb d:40gb e:40gb f:40gb all NTFS
and want to install mint in C: partition & confused about how much drive size needed for each like '/' '/var' '/home'
can any one guide me

i installed fedora 9 on my system , chose the boot loader to install into first sector of boot partition (/) ,so i can use bootpart to use it..
now the problem is i cant configure how to set it up..
my drives are--
/ 13.54gb
and /home 9.77gb
swap is 2gb

Hi, im using fedora core 6, I also have windows XP on my hard disk (40 GB) and have kept 8-9 GB for linux. Now :
>my root partition is an ext3, with 4.9 GB, out of which im left with just 160 MB free :(
(I thought 4.9 GB was enough, and i haven't just blindly installed everything on my DVD)...
