floppys

Does anyone know of a way that can let me scan my memory for any faults without having to upload a program onto a floppy/CD-R as... I don't have any floppy's or a CD/RW lol Oh and sorry if I hit the wrong troubleshooting spot, memory/program I kinda figured it's more about the memory. heh.
