disturbance.but

i recently bought an altec lansing ATP3 speaker system.i am using an intex soundcard(300 bucks) .however the sound is not very clear.there is quite a lot of disturbance.but when i coonect my speakers to my mp3 player,theres no problem.so should i change my soundcard.if so which soundcard should...
