A friend of mine going for either GTX 670 or Sapphire HD7970 Dual-X.
His usage is Gaming in 1080p with single monitor. Which card should he go for? I tried looking for it all around the internet and I can't decide what to do.

i own large cllection of bollywood / tamil/marathi dvd titles.( all of these are legally purchased and not pirated / theatre prints.)

Nero 7 allows us to encode dvd movies to mp4 format. if i keep the bitrate to something around 650kBps, i still get DVD quality video and the file size is hardly 550mb (in contrast to 700mb as AVI). since the size diff is so considerable, why doesn't everyone use mp4 especially those who upload...
A process called scvhost.exe has been taking up 100% cpu usage slowing down my system entirelyly. worse still, the process refuses to end even after a considerable period of time. What could be the prob??
My sys runs on winxp sp2.
A few days ago I installed the WinXP SP2 and since then the startup time has increased greatly. Even though i do not see any considerable HDD activity. My friend also has the same problem. Does neone know how to correct this problem?
