blicking

hi all i have a pc whic one is on LAN .I was accessing internet but just a DAY before yesterday i could not get inernet even as i didnot get to find where is the "network adapters" on going DEVICE MANGER. i can see the light blicking on the ethernet jack, but never shows in ":my network places"...
