aboutblank

I use about:blank as my home page. I thought about:blank is suposssed to be blank,it was for all these years. But sudenly a "y" like character appears in it. How can I fix it. I suspected some spyware & ran Ad-Aware and deleted the spywares,but still it appears... Help!

hi..my IE 6.0 has been acting weird...whenever i open IE...the homepage is automatically set to a weird searchpage with lots of categories in it...but its still showing ABOUT:BLANK in the address bar and the IE options...please help...howcan i remove this thing..
