thanks, that wasn't the reason, i have an orinal xp, my friend took it for the weekend, and i had a very bad vrius, and the only cd i could have find was the vista.

ok, i have Win Xp right now, when i put the cd in for Vista, the screan pops up, saying install, if i install like that, while its copying the files, at like 45% it give me a file copying Error. and if i try booting, it tells me to "click any key to boot from Cd or DVD" once i click, like any...
