aha! thats a nice eye candy :x few effects are annoying though! worked perfectly for me on dapper. had to use Ctrl + Alt + Backspace sometimes but its ok :)

check in settings if thr is anything like game speed settings. I dont remember it now. else, Uninstall the game, clean ur pc with ccleaner [ccleaner.com] and re-install the game. do a registry scan too! else, get cricket 2007 dude! 2005 is damn old !!
