It is a problem with your codec only.. The problem is NOT your Celeron processor . :) Get a gd player, and reqd codecs.. If that doesnt work, just reinstall windows.. u never knw... :-)

U can also do the other way round.. Monitor as a TV. Hardware is almost the same. most tuner cards and latest gfx cards have tv in and tv out.. Enjoy..

When it comes to price/performance amd is better. But I've to admit that it is offset by the high cost of motherboards that support amd(They are really scarce,and praise assus).

what abt brinkster... I am not sure if it supports FTP though. It's one of the few which supports asp code.
