    Need help with DSL connection

    Hi all, I have an Airtel broadband connection with a USB ADSL modem (GlobespanVirata). It connects at 512 Kbps, but works only as 256 Kbps (downloads averaging at 30 Kbps). Now is there any way I can make it to really work like it is supposed to? Thanks for your time. Thadeus.
