Phone for Dad - Mails and Calls - Under 30K

As the title says, no gaming, camera should be good enough. Mainly used for buisness calls/mails. Storage should be high 256GB.

So far looking at nothing Phone 2a Plus

Moto edge 50 neo for something compact, else NP 2a (or 2a plus, whichever is cheaper). Buy the 8GB RAM 256GB variant. Can buy 45W GaN charger for NP 2a, Moto comes with charger.

Now I am myself looking for a phone. Nothing 3a @27K is here, But there is also an option to buy an S23 FE for 34K. Which one will be better? Use case is same as dad. @omega44-xt

Check the comparison of both phones but 3a is superior and comes with Android v15

S23FE has bad battery life & does overheat, avoid, even though UI & cameras are the best for the price.

Nothing 3a seems good but SoC is underpowered. Something like OP Nord 4 is much more powerful but for UI, most people will vote for Nothing. Honestly don't have high expectations from Nothing camera to be noticeably better than Nord 4. IMO you will also appreciate the much faster charging on Nord 4 (even though via non-standard protocol).

If going with Samsung, I would suggest going with S23 non fan edition. I myself proud owner of the same. And it's available at good discount. I myself bought it for Rs 49k. But on sale days there are deep discounts.
