Dolby Vision Color Tint issue

Hi Guys,

I have HiSense 4K TV which supports HDR, HLG, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision and also Dolby Atmos.

Recently I downloaded two episodes of SEE and Ted Lasso in 4K resolution. Both in Dolby Vision Format encoded in x265 (HEVC)

When I play both of these files on my PC it plays with purple/green color (which is normal as my monitor is not Dolby Vision)

But when I play both on my HiSense TV only Ted Lasso plays perfectly in Dolby Vision (also a popup is displayed showing its a Dolby Vision) whereas SEE plays with green/purple color tint.

What is the problem ?

I am adding the Video Meta data below (as both looks same to me)

Perhaps you need an ICC profile to set the colour calibration?

Though I am not sure how to apply this to TVs.

Some reviewers will share their ICC profiles, check some site such as rtings.com.

Though for TVs, you might want to tweak the in-built settings. I doubt you can use some ICC profile unless it's a monitor.

I have very little or no knowledge about 4K TVs and that technology in general!!However a few pointers for you.

Are there any official 4K Dolby Vision Test Vectors available on official Dolby sites that you can download & play to test the capability of your TV?
Check this but it’s still not from Dolby *www.demolandia.net/4k-video-test/dolby-vision.html

If that confirms the TV capability, then the question remains about the authenticity of the download. It might not be original.
Also, I assume you are directly playing it on your TV’s USB port? If so, what if you give HDMI output of your Graphics Card to your TV’s HDMI-In and check again?

^^Yes, I have tested Dolby Vision Demo videos in my TV many times before and they all played well with no color issues.
And also both of the above videos are being played from USB 3.0 port so no question of compatibility.

It has something to do with the encoder group conversion program settings for Dolby Vision profile.

If you notice the HDR profile is same for both of the videos. So, it should not be a problem of color issue with only one video.

Note: the Codec ID is different for both. May be that is the problem.
