hi friends

looking for recommendations for 22 and 24 inch monitors for someone.

basic work is general - net surfing, general office work and watching encoded movies plus ott.

NO GAMES PLAY.

both systems are b450pro4, ryzen 3400g with 8 and 16gb ram.

it will be bought offline most probably as they are apprehensive about the online delivery condition of a monitor.

thanks.

yesterday night my 11 year old dell in2020 monitor (received as a replacement just 6 months before expiry of warranty in mid 2013) started showing hundreds of lines.
recalled this thread, checked and was going to buy LS24C330GAWXXL but my local vendor gave me LS24C334GAWXXL for INR7200.
very good monitor but it is blxxdy huge so will take few take to adjust.
unfortunately windows 10 recognizes it as a generic one.

24" is a good size for a monitor IMO, not too big, not too small. My office has 27" 1080p monitors & that looks bad to me, wish they kept 24" 1080p instead if they were not going to spend for 27" 1440p.

i have been using a 20 inch for the last 14 years so initially it looks big but as i said it will take few days to adjust and then it will become the standard. true 27 inch is way too big, saw one in the vendor's office used for cctv

I have a 17.3" laptop which I thought is big enough. Then I got a 1080p 24" monitor and later upgraded to 1440p 27" one. Now, I feel even 4k 32" would be okay.
