1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.' Vague answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work.)
Ans: mild to moderate gaming in HD(720p will do), excel sheet works, video editing with kinemaster plus normal stuff.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then please mention.
Ans:50k (cannot extend).

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: No.

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: windows 11.

5. How much hard drive / solid-state drive space is needed?
Ans: Already having two internal ssds with combined 750gb space.

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention the screen size and resolution you prefer. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, then do mention the screen size and resolution of the monitor you have.
Ans: yes. Need fhd 24 inch.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy? i.e. which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: SSDs, Keyboard and mouse.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: within a week.

9. Have you ever built a desktop before? Or, will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: No. Will be done by an assembler.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Coimbatore. Need to get locally.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: having been using 15 year old, Athlon2 x4, gigabyte 880gm mobo, corsair 4gb, corsair 450 psu, cooler master elite 360 case, xfx radeon hd 5770. It was doing fine for mild gaming with cod-mf2 and other things till recently.

So want to mention here that I do stretch things than their normal life period.
So expecting a vfm build and stay viable for next 10 years. Also please guide me on anything that can be reused from the build I already have!
Thanks in advance.

If you want dGPU, and okay with basic chipset board, you can pick up 12400F+H610+GTX 1650 build or 5600X+A520+GTX 1650 build.
If you can live with iGPU (for casual 720p gaming, that should be fine, I guess), 5600G+B550 build would cost about 40k or 8600G+B650 for 50k.

thanks for your input. May I know what all components I can retain? I hope all components including corsair 450w psu should be old enough to cause jolting right?
If I opt for igpu , what are other components you suggest?

Case - For iGPU build, it should be okay. You can still try your old one and see if it can keep the components cool, if you feel you could use a new one after trying, you can get a new one.
PSU - If it's at least bronze rated and not too old, you can sure reuse it. If this too 15yrs old, better get a new one for peace of mind.
GPU - Yes, it's compatible. But highly likely even iGPU of 5600G would be more powerful than your GPU.

If you go for this option, you can save some money
Ryzen 5600G
MSI B550M PRO VDH
Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR4 3600MHz x 2
Cooler Master MWE 450 V2
MSI MAG Forge 120A
LG 24MP60G

or you can hit the roof of your budget by going for this one
Ryzen 8600G
Asus Prime B650M-A II
Adata XPG Lancer Blade 16GB DDR5 6000MHz
Cooler Master MWE 450 V2
MSI MAG Forge 120A
LG 24MP60G

5600g is way below your budget
I just bought a 5600g plus rest of components for an amount below 30k
5600g plus asus prime b450m k ii =15800
Ddr4 3200/mhz 8gb*2 ( wasnt a kit) = 2898
Gskill ripjaws cl16
Psu - deepcool pk450d - 2800
Total - 21498
(Cooler master will only cost you 200-300 more

these are the items that i've ordered.
Things that u may need:-
Ssd will cost u 3k (500gb nvme) if u are buying any.
New - case deepcool matrexx - 2900
----------------
Even with these items it would be under 30k.
Imo go for am5 based builds.
A monitor would cost you 10k (1080p)

I think you should first confirm which one you are going to choose, if am5
Either 8600g/ 7600 ( you've to get a gpu)
If 8600g get a b650 board
If 7600 get an a620 to cut down on budget to afford a gpu (since its igpu isn't great), but its gonna be performing much better with a discrete gpu, as it has better pcie support and larger l3 cache)
For ram I'll suggest going for gskill ripjaws 6000/5600mhz cl30/32

Edit : use of words were too forceful

He is gonna get things locally, and I highly think the pricing in Coimbatore would be higher than online. So even fitting 12400F + H610 + GTX 1650 would be hard with the strict budget of 50k. So R5 7600 + dGPU is impossible.

I would like to go with 8600G and b650 and ripjaws.
Will add gpu later. which brings a question whether to get 550w psu or 450!
If I want to dispose my old rig, is it only to ewaste or any possibility of exchanges with the assemblers?

If you plan to add GPU later, get R5 7600 instead, not R5 8600G. R5 7600 has an iGPU unlike previous AMD CPUs, so no need of dGPU to boot.

Try to get 650W PSU.

Old rig is ewaste now, some local PC shops might take it, don't expect much money, at max few hundreds.

40k R5 7600 rig:

Add another 16GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30 RAM later along with Deepcool AG400 as CPU cooler & maybe a Gen4 SSD like WD SN770 or something else when time comes.

24" gaming monitors cost under 10k, this is close to 8k with card offer:

I haven't had the opportunity to know by first hand. It's been 6 yrs, and it's running fine. The only issue I had was when I was updating BIOS to get it 5600G ready, it didn't boot after updating. So had to spent a day and 850/- to get it fixed in nearby repair shop.
