I realized I never updated this thread. So I ended up buying a gigabit non POE switch and extend my network to different floors using LAN cable and a router to each floor. This way every floor now has fast internet and since the router is of same brand and model (almost), I get a mesh network.

Switches are the best to convert 1 LAN port to more. Just don't make the mistake of buying a non gigabit switch like I did (as mentioned in this thread: *geek.digit.in/community/threads/suggestion-on-a-switch-for-home-networking.212632/) Also you might save a lot of money, if you don't...
