Thanks..so i5 it is. But which one would u suggest?? 3470, 3550 or 3570K (cost??) don't mind spending a little more on CPU if performance is appreciably better. Also alongwith i5, which mobo should I go for considering I won't be overclocking...the cheaper one - Gigabyte B75M DH3 or M5A97...

Had bought it in 2008. Ya,was highly recommended then & is still working nicely on my system (CPU-Core2duo, Mobo - Asus P5BVM, Graphics card - 8800GT). But since it is quite old, would prefer going for a new PSU. Which one would you recommend if not the GS series?
