Exactly :) There's no reason to buy Raspberry Pi or any such single board computers (Beagle, Arduino etc), USB drive and TV work just fine. Pi, Arduino etc are a contrived way of doing simple things like watching a movie :)

Movies in Netflix (US) are pure junk, they've only got a sh!tload of B/C-grade movies.

All software pre-installed by laptop vendors are pure junk. Only thing that should be pre-installed is OS. It's better to remove those pre-installed junkware.
