File copy is possible in OSX/Linux but you cannot update its firmware in either. You need Windows for that. But IIRC all new S:Flo2's are shipped with V2.3 (latest FW). It does what its supposed to (at a great price too) and its SQ is just epic, i knew it would have issues but now i've gotten...

I've tried most, SanDisk handily beats them all (Though Verbatim was also pretty good, i'd still stick to SanDisk since they offer a better warranty). And the SanDisk flash drives will be slower than the Corsair GT, just look at the different in their prices.

Phantom is a great case but is also way over budget at 8.1k. You can look at something a little bit cheaper like the NZXT Tempest EVO at ~ 5700.

I see what you did there :wink: If you want your rig to last long, get a decent PSU, a decent motherboard (not those puny 4/6-phase VRM ones) and decent cooling (even a cheap aftermarket cooler like the Hyper 212+ would do. Also, 2+2 case fans for better air-flow in your cabinet wouldn't hurt...

Just buy a SanDisk class 4 card, most usually give speeds equal Class 6 standards. Avoid Transcend and Kingston cards, their reliability is pretty terrible

Just curious, how did you come to the conclusion that HDMI is better than DVI "quality wise" when you just (correctly) said that there is no difference in picture quality b/w DVI and HDMI ? @fukra - Just use your DVI cable

I don't get why everyone is recommending the DCII so much. Its a good card, yeah but Rashi's service is horrible. If you're fine with that then by all means, buy it.

If you have the HD box then its dead simple. Just buy an HDMI replicator from the market and voila. Not sure about the SD STB

Just get the Defy and hope that it gets updated to FroYo soon. The other option is to save up and buy the Galaxy S which retails for ~ 20.5k on Croma now.
