I have an AMD 4000+ with an ASUS M2NPV-VM Mobo with 2GB RAM and 2 SATA HDDs. I boot from a 160GB and Store all Data on a Seagate 250GB.
The250 GB is behaving strangely. :confused:I t shows up on the BIOS and Device manager but does not show on My Computer.
I have so far :-|
Reloaded Windows XP...
I had a similar prob. It looks like you have an OS on both the drives. After your F! boot do both the drives show in my Comp? You may have to either change the boot sequence from the BIOS or remove on of the OS.
How can I retrieve data from My Crashed ( detected by Bios & Device Manger- volumes show blank:confused:) but not visible in My computer.
The Drive is a SATA 250GB Segate on an AMD system in a RAID O array with only pure Data:(
The HDD is in Raid O, the files in the HDD are not being seen. In fact the drive does not show up in My comp.
In the device manager it shows up,but doesn't show anything in the volumes, although it contains more than 150gb of data:(
I have a AMD 3800+ on a ASUS M2nPV-VM and 2 SATA HDDs -one 160GB & the other 250GB in RAID . The system is working on WinXP sp2. The System recognizes the 160 GB with all partitions but fails to show the 250GB in My comp. The BIOS shows both HDDs. Device Manager also shows both the HDDs as...
I have been using a CRT Monitor for several years for my graphic & Photoediting work, I have recently purchased a Viewsonic VG1930WM monitor however the screen seems to be too bright and tends to hit the eyes, does anyone have standard settings for LCD displays that come close to CRT ones???
I am planning to buy this as a cheap Comp basically to run Photoshop and graphic applications - Mobo - msi rs 482 ild & CPU AMD 3500+ with my older ATA HDD and 1GB DRR1 Ram
would it serve the purpose?
I don't want a C2D i am going for a Dual core D-820. I am mostly into Photoshop & image editing, and need a Mobo with inbuilt graphic card, but with a flexibility to upgade later to a C2D
I need 2 upgrade my system and have a budget of around 10K for a Dual core CPU about 1GB RAM and a mobo. My hardware guy has suggested Asus P5PE-VM or P5RD1-VM or a Gigabyte GA-8I945GZME. Any suggestions ??? I have 2-3 non SATA HDD's which I want to use
I would suggest a CRT monitor for Photo editing, except for high end Lacie and Eizo monitors others are not good enough for judging color.
Also a Mobo with firewire will be useful say ASUS P5B-VM ( 8200/-)
