friends i am having atypical problem. iwas trying to install a dvd writer (. at liteon). at first the system does not recognised the drive and showed a message during boot up that 80 conductor cable cable(????!!!) is disconnected. the machine didnt boot then i tried to connect it...

gosh i have tried all that but no help friends. another thing my computer has been infected by trustin. i have recently cleared it with mcafee 8. could that be causing it?
