These look promising indeed! Just a couple of concerns : After how many hours of use would you say they start to feel uncomfortable? (the velour pads sure are expensive!). And can you comment on the build quality / durability?

Have you personally tried these on? It seems heavier than the rest at ~220gms. (the sennheisers are ~60gms!) These are closed back. Besides at that price point I could even go for ATH-AD300. Bit of a budget stretch.

Ah! I had forgotten that z510 and y510p had different GPUs. From the benchmarks, it seems that 750M is much better than 740M.
