Mohanty1942 first u turn off the firewall than by going to MY COMPUTER property turn on the remote desktop and click OK.Now as u said u know IP and password of ur frd,if he allows u can access remotely n share folder ,but remote desktop only will work if ur r in same network.

Saswat23 if you want to connect your & yours brother PC through switch or hub otherwise directly,allot ur PC and ur brothers PC IP as my frd's have told u above u can give IP by going to the My network places->View network connections->Local Area Connection->Properties->TCP/IP Properties->IP...

that's good news for cyber cafe owners but it there anything mention about the reliability of network,speed and what about downloading and browsing charges??
