What OS are you using ? Linux or Windows ? Could be also due to dust/corrosion, remove the battery clean the battery contact points on the MB with IP & once dried out insert the battery, switch on the device, set the default value and reboot and check !!!

Some times due to Many wireless device around, would cause interference. You need to change from auto to manual and change the channel whichever overcomes the issue or place your router in different location and experiment ( remove nearby cordless base or oven )

It's not the cabinet issue, the issue might be 1. Power socket 2. Power cable 3. Smps( shud be least option) Try to connect the same setup to other socket(prob. Other room) and check the same!!! If still exist, replace the cable (how old is you cable?)and check once... Hope this will...
