you can do that by copying the first couple of bytes to an image file and then booting from that in the boot.ini file. I read it in digit somewhere - it showed how to boot linux from NTLDR! Neat Right?!
format the floppy.
if that doesn't work chuck the floppy - floppies dont cost much anyway
(but before that update your antivirus software and scan it again)
These are your solutions
1. Buy a branded PC
2. Buy the parts indidually and assemble them (or get it assembled)
Its cheaper but you won't get any warranty except for some parts
maybe
3. I wouldn't worry about the cd drive if i were u. a lot of drives make
a lot of noise
4...
for this you will have to write an autorun.inf file on to your cd.
it should read like this:
[autorun]
open=filename.exe
icon=icon.jpg
the 'filename.exe' is the name of the executable to be run
icon.jpg is the icon to be displayed (duh!)
Yes this is true. You can by any card with a tv-out port. Or you can by a tv-tuner card as an alternative. However this is not recommended because the tv offers a very low res (640 X 480) and so you will not get very good quality.
