I have 15 inch LCD Monitor. There is no display on bootup but LED blinks. If I HIT the monitor then display comes. Similarly if display goes off as under power options, there is same problem. If I attach another monitor then there is no problem. This problem is both with Linux and Windows.
A simple matter is being complicated. A good Windows XP CD should take care of everything. So get another copy of Windows XP. Another advice is keep only one version of Windows and Linux each e.g. Windows vista and Opensuse 11
Opensuse is great for new and experienced users alike. Easy to install and upgrade. Multimedia support comes handy at *opensuse-community.org/Multimedia
Dear NucleusKore I want to install opensuse 11.0 to a computer not having internet connection. I have opensuse 11.0 live cd kde with me. Please tell me package to install multimedia files to it.
I never found update so difficult on Suse 10.3. It has always been very easy through yast>software management. I have all above plus many other programs on my system. While total size may be 1 GB, download size is much smaller.
Depends upon several factors like yours as well as peers bandwidth, Other programs running in the background, Number of torrents running at a time, and several other factors.
I use utorrent and on some times download as much as 230KBPS , but usually it is 100-150 KBPS with BSNL 500 plan
