I'm not sure about audio quality, but I like the phone overall. As far as a Win 8 phone being a 'major' threat to iOS... that couldn't be further from the truth.
Unfortunately most will not accept water damaged devices for replacement. NoasArcAngel is correct, your best bet is to fix the device yourself... otherwise you'll need to just purchase a new device :(
Unfortunately there aren't any Android apps that satisfy all your requirements. I've used Hootsuite for some time and in my opinion it's one of the best free apps. I'd recommend using a regular desktop, or laptop to do everything that you need and then using an Android application to track...
It's about quality, design, compatibility and durability. I've used Apple products for some time now and I couldn't recommend them more. Yes, they're a bit more money, but compared to a few high-end Android devices they're very competitive. Make sure to get yourself a nice case to protect it ;)
