Thanks for responding. I have a Intel i3 3.5 Ghz, 8GB RAM PC operating on Windows 10 PRo Version 21H2. I ran sfc/scannow as suggested by you but it did not work. By the way, PC is still works fine if I load from Advanced options-Use a device-Hard drive.
