Android is a necessity while Performance is the most important criteria for me. (Even more than the price I quoted as my budget)
I got Galaxy S a year ago because it was a beast in hardware specs those times but still it lagged and updating to Froyo didn't make any speed improvements as such...
You should download the latest drivers from their original sites. These so called driver updaters don't usually point out and download the latest and greatest versions. Otherwise, sometimes they might be of help in getting out a hard-to-find driver.
