all the speakers u mentioned above are passive speakers, meaning u need a separate amplifier(costing 10k+) to drive them.u CANT just plug them into ur computer and start using them.
for a budget of 10k,i would say get an Altec Lansing MX-5021 costing 8k and spend 2k on a Creative sound-card.
buy a earphone(the small headphone that plugs into the ear) instead of a headphone.there r 2 reasons for this:1.in ur price range u dont get decent headphones.2.if u listen to music loudly with headphones(which u may need to if ur office is noisy),people aroud u will also be disturbed.
look for...
buy the Bose Wave system (35k) if there is a problem of space,it just a single piece, is really small but has pretty good sound.otherwise, here is a suggested combination:
Marantz CD5001 CD player(15k)
Wharfdale Diamond 9.0 speakers(8k)
Yamaha AX-396 amplifier(16k)
spend the rest 1k on good...
for that price range u have a very limited choice,so forget about all paper specs and try and listen to the speakers yourself and see which YOU like the best, because in this price range bad speakers are abundant.here are a few models, all of which may not be available where u live:
1.altec...
but in last month's DIGIT test, the following speakers in my price range fared better than the ATP3 in music tests:
artis S700
creative i-trigue 3400(i'm getting them for 3.3k somewhere)
logitech X-230
so what do i do now???
i am planning to upgrade my pc.could u suggest a configuration for all that goes into the cabinet for under 20k.i already have the monitor, modem, keyboard, mouse.i need it only for casual gaming,to run itunes, play movies(so include dvd writer if possible),listen to music and for the internet.it...
