Range depends on a lot of factors like design of the house, type of construction material, interference from nearby wifi networks etc so it is almost impossible to predict how a wifi router will actually perform in your location before using it. Another thing to keep in mind is your total budget. Usually it is better to buy a good & not costly primary router & use a cheap secondary wifi router as wired access point(connected by lan wire to primary router).
